is it worth it to go with iridium's?

I've tried both, the regular ones work just as well. Cheaper by a long shot.

I have iridiums tr55s. Over the stock ones, it seems to be running smoother. But I highly doubt it has anything to do with the iridiums. Just needed new plugs.

The iridiums take less voltage to fire. (GM switched to them in many applications to allow smaller, lower voltage coils) Could make a difference with high compresssion and big plug gaps...
