Default FAST 90/90 preinstall

Well guys ive got my old intake off and am slowly but surely cleaning up the engine bay Air, EGR, well i havent had a chance to work on it in a few days and i decided that im going to go ahead and install my cam and everything else while i have the intake off.

My question is in the instructions on the second or third page it says to disassemble the intake to make sure the o-rings and gaskets are properly seated or something like that, has everyone been disassembling them or have you just been making sure the bolts are torqued properly and throwing it on?

"Your new FAST LSX manifold is shipped with the inner piece sealed and
pre-assembled to lower. The upper is loosely attached with (14) M6 bolts.
Remove bolts and upper shell. Inspect cord seal to insure it is still in
place in perimeter groove and runner grooves as shown (fig. 14), and
re-assemble upper shell using the (6) shorter bolts."

thats what the paragraph says

Also they say to put it back together but they dont give any torque specs for these particular bolts.

Thanks guys

Dont diassasemble anything, if I remember correctly on my last Fast intake you have to install the green intake gaskets for each cylinder(?) But other than that the 1 I have installed, I just placed the intake gaskets in there groove and installed the intake, I also dont have TQ specs handy but just "snug" them down,I would guess around 25 inch lbs(but I have been installing parts on cars so long you sorta develop a "feel" for it) I am not an expert on Fast intakes but the cam/headers/AFR head/Fast 90/90 car I did the install on made 440/410 so I must have it pretty close.

thanks for your help man i was starting to think no one would ever answer. I emailed fast quoting the paragraph and the tech guy seemed confused from what i could tell from his response. I was planning on just putting it on, i didnt want to take it apart since i have read some threads about people have problems with it sealing after taking it apart or porting it.

anybody else got any thoughts on the subject
