O.k. I've beat the search button to death and still can't find what I'm looking for. Does anybody have a wiring diagram handy for controlling a E-Cutout with a convertible top switch. The cutout will be a McCord.
Thanks
Thanks
See my posts in www.ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=453095 This was for the QTP but might help, like I said never tried it though.
If you look at the back of the switch:
TAB
E F G H
D C B A
H = Ground
G = Empty (not used)
F = Power (12v)
E = Up (+) Cutout (open)
A = Down (-) Cutout (close)
B = Lamp (+)
C = Lamp (-)
D = Ground
B and C are interchangable for the light, so they don't matter. This switch is a basic reverse polarity unit. When you press one direction, A becomes + and E becomes -. Press the other way and A becomes - and E becomes +. Get it?
If you look at the harness side, just flip the image over and it will look like this:
TAB
H G F E
A B C D
H = Ground
G = Empty (not used)
F = Power (12v)
E = Up (+) Cutout (open)
A = Down (-) Cutout (close)
B = Lamp (+)
C = Lamp (-)
D = Ground
TAB
E F G H
D C B A
H = Ground
G = Empty (not used)
F = Power (12v)
E = Up (+) Cutout (open)
A = Down (-) Cutout (close)
B = Lamp (+)
C = Lamp (-)
D = Ground
