78mm vs 90 mm intake

Default 78mm vs 90 mm intake

just wondering what the power differences are between the two, i have a 408 and was just wanting to know if anyone has tried it?? just want to see what my options are before shelling out all my cash i have hidden from my wife that she doesnt know about

i wouldn't go any smaller than a 90mm intake on a stroker motor

I had a 78MM setup on my 408, and switched to a ported 90MM intake. I don't have any dyno sheets to back up any gains, but I can sure as hell tell you that you can feel a HUGE torque difference down low just putting around town.

78 here very nice for stock cubes, but you are definatley in the 90 mm range. Dig around, I got mine for 512.00 shipped with new seals, after a little price matching, so figure the 90 could be had for like 560.00

90mm all the way. i think the 78mm is a huge waste of $$$.
I have a 90mm on my "bolt ons only" car.
