QTP vs Pacesetter

a aftermarket OR-Y pipe will give u good gains over a STOCK Y-pipe with cats(maybe 5+ ish HP)
but all the aftermarket ones are the same. same flow/power etc.
Maybe all the cheap Y-Pipes are the same, but a good Y with a true merge collector will make a difference. A good Y-pipe is not much more than a crappy one. The HP/$ is well worth it.
All the money comments about saving money to get more cheap parts to add up to more than one expensive part. What happens when your out of parts? Go back and get the extra power by changing parts you went cheap on the first time? That doesn't make much sense to me. I guess it all comes down to budget and goals but if you ask me, it makes more sense to do it right the first time and when you can, get the next quality part. In the end, it will add up to a big difference. If you don't care to take the car that far then pacesetters are a great value. I chose QTPs and true duals. I think you will be real happy with your choice. You may not be able to buy your next part right away but you will know you havn't left anything on the table.
