Default Exhaust, headers, ypipe

I'm about to buy a exhaust system for my 99 WS6. My choices are borla or corsa, and mac headers and ypipe.

The problem is; i want my car to be louder but not to much louder, not at idle and leaving drive way and coming home late and normal cruising. I would like to know how much loader the mac headers are going to make my car while it is sitting in the drive-way ideling?? and when i back out off my drive way.

I want my car to sound more mean, which one for this?

ORP or cats, I'm running on a tight budget so if i go cats can i use the cats that are already on the car?? How many hp does cats hold back? Will cats quite the car down?

If i knew that the borla wouldn't be much louder leaving my house, rpm's will be about 800-1000, then i would get borla. I don't want headers if it is going to make my car loud when i am ideling and such, but when i want it to be. Rasp is not a concern as long as it is quite at idle or near idle.

How much should it cost to have all this installed on my car?

Should i listen to soundclips also, what is a good site for what i'm looking for.

Ok from doing some search i think it sounds like i would like the corsa better, will this be a lot louder than stock at idle with headers,

If i get corsa i'll probally go with cats, can i use the stock cats? How many horses could i get without cats? Will cats make a difference on corsa exhausts.

From my previous post what should i get corsa or borla, i want it to sound mean and not sure if corsa will just need an opinion.

Soundclips would be appreciated.

I've heard MAC headers with the Borla exhaust & it sounds terrible. If those are the only options for you then go for Corsa.

Need some final help.

I'm going corsa exhaust.

Headers are still a hard decision. Hooker or mac. Which one is quiter, and how much, at idle and very very low rpm? Second which one has better sound. Will the hookers drag, my car drags every now and then, the black piece in the front of my 99 WS6. Which one has more problems, i have an A4.

Y-pipe and cats, cats i heard mac cats suck. How many horses would i lose with cats? Will cats make it quiter? What are some good cats. What are opinions of no cats on corsa.

You would probably make 10hp more without using Mac cats. If you want cats, get either Ramdom Tech or Car Sound. I personally don’t like cats though, I only put them on for emission tests and then remove them right away.

How hard is it to remove them and install ORP. If i get them installed i might have to get cats, maybe mac cats and then remove them when i get home
