Difference between stock SS exhaust and Dual/Dual?
Whats the difference between the stock SS exhaust and the SLP dual/dual exhaust? Are they one in the same? GM part number for the stock SS exhaust is 10436321 and shows it fits Z28's with option code WU8, SS upfitter, which would mean stock fitting SS system. I know the SS system is different from the stock Z28 exhaust, but am not 100% sure of the differences between those two also. Is it just the tips? Is the muffler itself different? If the stock SS is the same as SLP's dual/dual I will be ordering it from my local GM dealer as I can get it for considerably less than what SLP wants for it. Help?

The stock SS unit is 2.75" and the dual/dual is 3". it is made by SLP and it is totaly different, it's stainless steel and flows much better then the stock system. If you want the dual/dual you'll have to get it from SLP because it's not a GM product.
