I had FLP headers installed on my C5 a couple of weeks ago with straight pipes. A little over a week ago I switched to the high flow cats. Since the cats I have noticed a rotten egg smell when I am idling sometimes. It is continuing to smell and actually doing it more often since then. The car is in perfect running order. No one has really been able to help me solve this problem. I know this smell is coming from the cats but what is causing it? Could these new cats be bad or is something else wrong? It is a horrible smell and I'm tired of driving the car around with like this. Everyone that rides in my car comments.

Too many eggs in your salad. LOL
It's just the fuel burning smell. Nothing wrong. Unleaded fuel seems to stink like that.

Its basically like a "break in" period for it. Don't worry, the smell will go away soon <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
