Lubrication Specs Important????
What type of oil should i be using for my LS1 w/ 50,000 miles on it? Should I stick with 5w30?
Also, do you think its time i change out the plug and wires and if so, whats the best combination out there, (MSD wires w/ NGK plugs?) <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />

Re: Lubrication Specs Important????
I've been running 10W30 here in FL since my first oil change. Got almost 53K miles now. Doing my 3rd plug change (NGK TR55) today.
I'm using the MSD wires. If you don't wan't to spend the money on the wires you could get a meter and check the resistance on the wires-see if any are way high- if not you could stick with stock. Matter of preference,I don't believe the stock wires are that bad.
