i wouldnt see the point in it because it would make taking them out a pita when the time comes. i used antisieze the two times ive done it and it works fine. just make sure to go through the bolts in a week and tighten them to make sure the gasket is tight.

Anti-seize is prolly the only thing you need to put on your bolts, IMO.

Why would you want to use anti-seize? There’s none on there to begin with. How often do you guys take the headers on and off???

I anti-sieze everything (except on my Sportster).
The point isn't how often you take them off -
it's whether it will come out without shearing
a bolt, when you eventually do. It's the bolts
that stay put for a long time that will rust in
place.

like the guy above me said. i took my stock bolts out at 500 miles. they came out like nothing. without antisieze and many, many thousands of miles later it would have been a pita. not to mention that it makes putting them in a hell of a lot easier. you know you wont strip it putting them in because you will be able to finger tighten them pretty far. you have less a chance of snapping them if you ever need to take them out.

let me know if you need a hand putting them on.
