I'm running a Loudmouth myself and I've heard the GMMG. While it sounds good and isn't as loud as the LM, I still like the Loudmouth better although I feel they are comparable. Unless you were really hung up on the GMMG I can't really see why you'd pay twice as much for it vs. a Loudmouth. Also, as I recall when the GMMG first came out the initial dynoes showed little to no gain from the GMMG. Not sure if this has changed, though, since I haven't had reason to keep up on it.
Officer, I think you're wise to try and find different catbacks to listen to before buying one. If your plan is to keep the car mostly stock, then tone and loudness should be your primary concerns IMO

Im gonna hold out for a few and wait to hear and then choose what i like. For now, I would like to get rims and tires...What to do, what to do???
Of course, theres no such thing as TOO MUCH power, am i right????
I took the liberty of emailing you a few soundclips I had of the Loudmouth exhaust. Hope it makes your decision a little easier
Oh BTW its a good-sized file, so I hope it doesn't jam up your email too bad
BORLA! Million mile warranty in writing! Solid Stainless Steel. Fully polished Stainless Steel dual intercooled tips that look AWESOME. Great sounding! The BEST!

I have this, too. Nothing like a straight pipe. No other aftermarket exhaust has the straight through design with no resonator in between. It just rocks. I've actually pulled up to people and, because it's quiet at idle, revved and scared the wee out of some folks. LOL!
Just my opinion.

OBTW, I got it for $400. Just shop around.

A true-dual longtubed and x-piped LS1 will sound better than any traditional exhaust setup, hands down.
Y-pipes and catbacks are lame
