Re: What thermostat is in your LS1... 160*, 180* or stock ? I know of another guy from the early days (98) who ran his LS1 with no thermostat. He said that scan tool testing showed his car ran approximately 110F more than ambient temp. So if it was 70F outside, his car ran 180F for example.
