Default ATAP: fipk vs. lid

I've heard a lot of arguments about FIPK vs. lid and which one is better. Has anyone ever done an ATAP anlaysis of the two? Since ATAP can be used in a moving car with the hood closed this should be a fairly accurate real world test.

It seems like the 2 best measurements to take would be mass air flow (MAF) and intake air temp (IAT). This should determine which one flows more air right? It should also show if the FIPK raises intake air temp like some have suggested. I'm not an ATAP expert though. Is the ATAP accurate enough to determine this?

I personally feel the 2 are pretty equal but Im just curious all the same.
