Time for Fluid Change??
[anecdote mode]
Back when I was in high school (~12-13 years ago) I worked at a Minit-Lube and we had a guy come in with a '66 El Camino (as I recall). It was our practice to check the rear diff, etc., and this guy's rear diff fluid looked like curdled milk. I asked him when was the last time he'd had it changed and he said "never". To make matters worse he'd owned the car since it was new! Of course he decided that it wasn't necessary to have it changed. I believe his comment was "they've been together this long, why change it now". Amazing, some people... [/anecdote mode]

There is only one kinf of Mobil1 Sythetic ATF anyway... For the rear diff i used RedLine Synthetic gear lube, 75w140 i think.. And i run Mobil 1 5x30 in my engine. Im **** about synthetics.. i even flushed my power steering to replace it with mobil 1 synthetic PS fluid. Hmm.. maybe DOT5 brake fluid next! Woo!!!
