Anyone with Hooker Catback?
Anyone with Hooker Catback? I am looking into getting a catback system for my 98 Z. I love the sound of the loudmouth but I also want to get headers in the future so I am a little leary of getting the loudmouth. How does the hooker catback sound? It is reasonably priced but I want a nice tough sounding car. Is the hooker catback a good choice and does it free up many horses?

Re: Anyone with Hooker Catback? There was a poll on this not too long ago, like a week, scroll down and find it, something to the tune of "everyone's favorite cat-back" I have never heard it, but everyone who has it or has heard it has nothing but good to say about it.
Re: Anyone with Hooker Catback? love it!!!! tips were a little iffy at first but grew on me. and along with the hooker LT's and off road y-pipe, it still sounds good, and not too loud.

And for the price it can't be beat. I don't have headers or a y-pipe yet so i can only guess how much better it'll sound with those!!!

Re: Anyone with Hooker Catback? I read on Camaroz28.com that nobody can get the Hooker catback right now, they are all on backorder. So hopefully you guys that want them can find a shop that has them in stock. I'm probably gonna go with this catback on my car next year too since it's the cheapest and it sounds great on an LT1 (I've heard it before)

Re: Anyone with Hooker Catback? I have hooker cat back and love it, But I just installed hooker shorties with slpy and random tech cats and its mean sounding when you get on it and calm when your cruising.
