Default Autometer Gauge

Sorry if this isnt the correct place to put this but wasnt sure. I did a search and came up empty handed. Was looking for any info on where to install the sensor for water coolant. And was also curious if any one has ever used just one gauge and had several diffrent sensor tied into a three way switch to use for water, tranny, and oil temps? Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance.

I would personally install the water temp sensor in the cylinder head.
That's the place where you want to keep an eye on things.

As for coupling one, or more sensors together, you mightl have to calibrate
each sending unit if they are not original AutoMeter senders.

Its at the very back of the head, next to the #8 plug, and a hair higher on the head. If you look at the driver's head, where the stock coolant sensor is at the front of the head, thats the same place the plug is in the passanger head, only at the rear.
