More powerful Hey guys I have a TA, I really wanted a ram air, but just couldn't afford it....Now I am wondering might I have reached the Ram air HP production....So would my A4 TA with a MTI lid, Holley filter, FRA, and FTRA produce more power than a M6 Ram air???
If I had a few more k's, I would have got the M6 Ram air, but had to go for the A4 TA because of money....So did my few mods pass the M6 ram air???

Re: More powerful I know several WS6 owners who have purchased the FTRA. With it installed it makes the ram air hood non-functional to the air box but it still allows cooler outside air over the engine. The FTRA has a greater effect than the stock system. You won't see a difference on a dyno while you are stationary though. The better exhaust on the WS6/SS has a greater impact on the higher dyno numbers. Your lid and filter should get you very close to stock WS6 M6 numbers but I think they mey edge you out. In a race, however, your A4 should get you off the line quicker and I don't think they'd pull on you. Go from a stop and good luck finding a stock one.

Re: More powerful Thanks, thats what I was hoping....I always thought the Ram Air package was a little steep in price....but that hood, wow I love that thing, can't wait to get that.....As for the exhaust, right now I am applying for a credit card that has no interest for like 9 months, so then if I get that card I could order my exhaust now and pay my other bills off.....More than likely I will be going with the Corsa system, looks so good, but I want to hear it 1st to make sure it fits my preferences.....thanks for the help guys
