Finally hit the dyno.......! Ok, I'm really happy about this! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" />
We went up to Carlisle where I always put her up on the rollers. Same dyno, same guy, conditions were very close to last year...so..
She pulled 345HP/351TQ <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
Here is the car...
98 M6
Stock ported MAF, Whisper, Throttle Body bump stop, TB Bybass, Borla, Carsound Cats, TTS Headers, ASP Pully, Stock gears.

Verdad Gallardo Re: Finally hit the dyno.......! Beth let me get this right... Those are rwhp #'s or Flywheel #'s? You have the exception if those are rwhp #'s and you do not have a ls6 intake. I have a 2001 and I have heard of no one with a 98 dyno'ing over 305rwhp w/out a ls6 intake.. Did you purchase this car new in 98? I am wondering if someone had already put a ls6 intake on for you b4 you purchased the car..

Re: Finally hit the dyno.......! Vince, I am the only owner of this car. I was not interested in an LS6 intake because of seeing possibly only a little more than 5 or so HP gain, so I decided to keep my $400. If I am wrong, please correct me! I would love to see what it would do!
Those are rear wheel numbers on a chassis dyno.
I always use the same guy to dyno my car, and he freaks out about the numbers too. He says it is possessed by the devil. <img border="0" alt="[devil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" /> It has always appeared that it is a factory freak. I only wish they were doing A/F ratios.... Maybe next time.

Re: Finally hit the dyno.......! Did you ever dyno it stock? Most 98's I've read about pull in the 290's to low 300's stock. It seems higher than normal for your mods unless your baseline was stout to begin with.

I did have a dyno at Kenny Browns when I had the lid and the Borla. At the time I had the smallest plate in the Borla and she pulled 300.1HP/310.3TQ. It was a dyno jet, and I guess that can be a good comparison.
