Most people have the ASP. It'll cost around $210 -$225 with belts included. There really aren't any drastic specials.

Going through a parking lot at less than 1,800 rpm will leave you with NO power steering. I have to put the clutch in and blip the throttle to turn the wheel around corners.

Don't worry about getting the alt pulley. Waste of money.

The best one to get is the ASP pulley. SLP has one but isn't nearly as good as the ASP, so I've read.

i have the asp and like it very well.i also got the overdrive alt. pulley since i have a fairly large system but aparently it isn't over driven enough because my voltage goes down deep in the 12s and lights dim much more than they used to.

Never heard of any one have PS issues with an underdrive pulley at least with an LT1 or LS1 car. As far as SLP VS. ASP. They are both very nice product. I would recomend either. The alt pulley does have its worth however, every application tends to vary but automatic cars idle lower than sticks. So you need the extra alt RPM, especially if you have any type of a system.

i have the new style SLP pulley. it is a very nice piece. No problems with it at all, and you can tell a little difference. I have NO probs with charging at all. The it is a little hard to steer under 1000 rpm, as soon as its off idle it fine. I acctually like the stiffer steering though.

I have the powerdbond/slp and love it. A quality piece for sure. Most of the thrown belts are from the stock tensioner sucking and not the pulley, but I went w/ the higher walls for added peace of mind. Expect .1 and 1mph in the quarter.
