The ultimate LS1 performance headers are finally complete (less Jet-Hot coating!)
Thanks for your time John. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />
Back to your question on header cost, I believe that you would have to pay the going shop labor rate to have someone do this for you and at $30+/hr., this could get reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeal expensive for only a potential few HP gain. The money would really be better spent elsewhere.
My main motivation here building these headers was that since nothing long tube is currently offered that would fit my car without massive rework that it wasn't anymore expensive for me to build exactly what I wanted incorporating all of the latest technology whether proven or not. I don't think I'll see much gains until my S2 heads go on and then I expect big gains (hopefully!).
Personally if you don't like the Hookers, take a look at the other offering from FLP, Grot or even SLP (these are the only equal length F-body ones available that I am aware of even though they are not stepped).
Good luck!

The Derek H, if you could afford Titanium or Inconel headers you should be using a C5R block & heads to boot <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" /> </font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">He can and he is. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />
