What parts for a LT header install... Locking head bolts
gaskets (Brand/PN?)
Loctite
What else? What tools, sizes, anything and everything. Just for installing a set of Grots. I am having a custom Y made, so I'm not worried about that right now.
Can someone please make me a complete list or point me in the right direction?

Re: What parts for a LT header install... Loctite? I wouldnt use that anywhere where steel and aluminum meet. Use anti-sieze instead...
Other than that, gaskets (GM metal ones, like $11 from Thunder), bolts, 02 simms, and tools are all you need <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Re: What parts for a LT header install... What tools (exactly) will I need, and what size are the bolts? This is my first attempt at REAL engine work, so I need to be prepared, even though the install is quite simple.
Is there a good write-up anywhere on LT installs?

Re: What parts for a LT header install... You just need a good set of metric sockets with extensions and wobblies, plus a set of metric wrenches. Good screws drivers and pliers will prove helpful. It really wasn't that hard to install my FLP's, much easier than I anticipated. I just used a new set of stock GM gaskets. On my set I had to get one 12" O2 extension and a pair of O2 simulators for the rear sensors. Worked like a charm.
