SLP y-pipe worth it on a stock engine?
My question, is the SLP pipe alone worth any great increases in HP? They claim 10HP, but I'm not so sure I buy thier advertising... Will I get more from the cutout than I will from the y-pipe?
You'll definitly get more out of a cut out than you will anything, on a dollar for dollar basis.
Good Luck
<strong>The only way that LT headers will cause you to fail emissions is if you have a visual inspection to pass. In CA you would fail. I think I will also pass on the new y-pipe and use the stock one <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
Thanks for helping to convince me not to spend the $$$ on something worthless (in my application). <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
There are a number of things in the same $200 price range that will give a far greater return such as: Lid/Filter, FTRA, Pulley, Etc..
