Oh ok makes sence.......so if for any chance I have to grind the k member is it a big deal? Or it doesn't really matter? Will it mess anything up now or later on down the line?

Like stated above, this was an issue a long time back. Since the re-design, they fit great and the quality is much better as well. Pretty easy to put in as well. They fit better than my first set that were 2 1/2 more $$.

my off-roads went in like a dream!.....i never thought it could be so easy! Just make sure you get the passenger side up in the air pretty damn high. And TAKE YOUR TIME with threading those bolts into your aluminum heads! I almost messed up!

no mine fit fine, around my profab, I was just stating that I had no idea how the fit was on the stock 200lb pos k member. Above, there was a question about removing engine components, I would remove coilpacks, the whole bracket and all in one piece, I say this cause their acutally was a guys that just took out individual coils, lol Also I removed the egr, and air pump tubes, cause they were leaving anyways, but these out of your way really allow you to get into the passenger side. Some say they have had to remove the streering arm, but I think they just needed the car up higher. I did mine with the rear on ramps and front jack stands cranked all the way up. car was like 3 feet of the ground, well maybe 2 foot good luck, they have been great for me.
