3" exhaust pipe over the driver side of the axle? If not... why??? I have heard definately no, and I have heard that it has been done before with certain mods. Someone please settle this!

Well do ya have an adjustable panhard rod? If so you might be able to squeeze it through there, just crawl up under your car and you will see the issue. The panhard rod is right there and also the wiring harness for your fuel pump and sending unit.

YES.. .it can be done. The panhard rod is not the problem. The problem is there is a bar that mounts to the body (on the driver's side) and runs across to the bracket where the panhard rod connects to the body. If you remove that bar (brace) and weld some nice stiff plate on the panhard mount (passenger's side), then it will be simple. I plan to do this when if and when I convert to true duel. I am thinking of using two loudmouths as my "start" point (3 inch from the Hooker LTs all the way out ).

Sounds nice. Aren't the fuel lines tucked up right where the pipe will go over th axle? Can they withstand the heat?

The only problem would be preheating the fuel. I would imagine there is enough space and air flow to keep the lines cool. If not, a heat shield could be made and then lined with heat resistant material.
