Re: Turning on fans earlier Where does the SLP fan switch plug into the stock harness? Do you have to drill the firewall? If you leave the switch turned on, will the fans run anytime the key is switched on?

Re: Turning on fans earlier I have the SLP fan switch. You dont have to drill in your firewall, there is already a predrilled location in the firewall. The problem is that its right under the computer, and GM shoved that computer way back there so its a real pain to get it in and out.

Do yourself a favor and keep a "snake" wire in that hole! I cut a slit in the plug and ran my wires through it. I left a wire in there that's not connected to anything. When I need to run new wires, I tape them to the snake and gently pull them through.
Works great so far, just make sure the plug doesn't pop out ( you can feel it on the inside to make sure it's still in place)
