1.5 tenth gain, by switching exhaust (at the track) to duals wuth bullets, from a 3" Y to flowmaster collector 3 to 3.5, to 3.5 pipe with a cutout.

That was when the car was just bolt ons.

Well, I added a pulley about the same time as true duals, but still figure I picked up about 5-10 rwhp over a 3" Y over the axle and !catback. My dual exhaust is 2.5" Dr. Gas X with 12" bullet dumps. Most notable on the dyno is the nice flat hp curve. I'm at near peak power from 5300 to 6300 rpm. Looks like a torque line.

At the track it's hard to say. I ran 11.99 in perfect weather, -700 DA. Since then, with the true duals and a pulley, I've run many 12.04's and 12.05's in +1000 to +1200 DA's. So, I won't know true track gains until cooler weather comes back.

If you decide to dump em b4 the axles you get the benefit of weight savings from not having a catback...and a much smoother exhaust flow path.

I never seen him make a pass with one on his car. It's always lying beside those beautiful wheels(that I never seem to be able to steal). LOL

I want a true dual set up BAD!!!!!!!!!!

hehehe, it won't be much of a weight savings for me, huh Josh?

I'm thinking a want a different set of wheels again so maybe you can have my old ones.

Later man,
Justin

I gained about 12rwhp/12rwtq by going from a 3" ypipe and 3" catback w/ blowmaster muffler to a dual 3" true dual.

As far as dyno figures go, I think the true dual is what makes me able to dyno over 370rwhp/380rwtq with just bolt ons, through a 33 spline 12 bolt and 3.73 gears.

The true dual is part of the reason I dyno more that other bolt on cars IMO (that and I have almost all the bolt ons in the book )

As far as track numbers go

I ran a 12.5@112.6 1.9x 60 ft. on drag radials last winter with 15rwhp/15rwtq less than what I have now, and a 10 bolt and z06 clutch.

I now posses a 12 bolt, Mcleod clutch package, and slicks, and with the extra 15rwhp/15rwtq.....I hope to hit a 12 flat@112mph this winter on slicks

I'm doing it at 1500ft and density altitudes are never under 2000ft.
