Hooker LT headers and y-pipe go on tomorrow I got the y-pipe in today, and it looks good. I slid everything together today too, and took some pics of the headers and y-pipe all slid together on the carport. I had to round out some of the slip joints, glad I did it in the carport. Nothing major, just not something you want to do while already under the car and putting them in. Hopefully by this time tomorrow I'll have it all in and hooked up with pics of the install <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />

Re: Hooker LT headers and y-pipe go on tomorrow Well I got a late start today, 11:00am and worked till 11:00pm. Worked probably 8 full hard hours of the 12 on the actually install. Taking all the stuff off was easy, didn't have any real problems there exhaust wise. Although do as the directions say, you do HAVE to take off the oil diverter plate, and the steering shaft. I tried to do it without taking the steering shaft off cause it did suck getting it out. All in all it would have gone a LOT easier if it wouldn't have been dark and raining on us the last 4 hours. We were working on a ramp outside.
Today we got both headers and all the sparkplugs in. Thanks to my friend Matt and my dad.
Just have to do the Y-pipe, EGR, and pass side coil pack on tomorrow.

Re: Hooker LT headers and y-pipe go on tomorrow Yup, it's a cake. If you have a 2001-2002, you'll need to block off the EGR port on the headers. Also, you will either need to use the 1998-1999 air tubes or modify your existing one, as they will not line up. I love mine. <img border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" title="" src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" />
