just go ahead with the install. get it all setup and then take it to a muffler shop if it needs to be fixed.

I'll be doing mine on a lift, maybe that will be of SOME help to trying to line this crap up. If nothing else, it'll be a nice time of getting out my frustrations on some pipes. :\

I'm confused? The TSP Y pipe has to be assemebeled? So does the Pace setter? I did the same thing, ordered it b/c everybody on here said it fit so great. Did the all of a sudden change the design?

I just got the y pipe installed, fitment is descent, just a PITA to get right. We started at the headers and worked are way back. It bolted right up to the stock muffler. The only place that touches is at the torque arm. I guess you pay a price for a good tuck.

the ory probably has a thin seam on the inside of it that needs to be sanded or hit with a die grinder so it will be easier to adjust. try pulling one wire at a time off each coil you unhooked to see if it makes a difference or not.

Had similar problems. Once I got the Y into the I, it was pretty simple!

Hope this helps!

the TSP Y pipe is better b/c you can adjust it more than the pacesetter Y pipe, its a good Y pipe just like everything else you do to your car such as wheels some people have to beat the fender well in and some dont, just like these Y pipes some have to beat the **** outta them to fit and some get lucky and no snags in the installation.

Well the misfiring seemed to stop on the 3 drive around the block so i gave it a lil hell and wow!.....it pulls hard for just an open y-pipe. next friday it gets the TSP tune. but do u think it was just the computer trying to re-learn itself?

its making up for being rich since the o2's arent used to all the extra scavanging thats going on. it may just be your ltrims relearning.
