put the rear piece on last. do a side at a time. I actually had to get a block of wood and a rubber mallet to get it to slide over the collectors. also make sure that the back piece is right otherwise it will seem like its all wrong. been there done that..id post pics if i had them..ill see if i do.

Had to have my TSP catted Y re-fabbed to fit correctly. Quite a few cuts. It's not a direct bolt on like they say. Does tuck up nicely now though.

Wish I could give you more info as to what we cut, but i didn't do it myself. Plus I'm sure every fbodys going to be slightly different. I did a search before installing mine, everyone had different issues getting it to fit up.

Yea, your a funny guy. When it involves cutting and welding... your right, I don't!

Me and Rich were about to do it. Got it all lined up and saw that it was going to fit like ****.

Rob (sdfb Rob) did mine at his shop. Did a good job. Cut it, got it all lined up, took it off then welded it up. Put it back on and it fit like a glove. I could see how it would be off angle if it wasn't cut.

With the ORY, you should be able to get it tucked up even further. The cats are what limited how far we could get it to tuck up. We even had to relocate the fuel lines because the cat was so close to them... better safe than sorry.

Cool, he's got practice at it now. He did a real good job with mine. I had him weld up the inter joining pieces of the pipe to. We just band clapped it to the headers and I pipe. It really sucks that it's 4 pieces. I was disappointed when I got it and saw that... lots of places for leaks. At least the Pacesetter ORY I took off was only 2 pieces, not as bad.

I was trying to put my y pipe on last night and ran into the same problem at the headers. So much for "A Direct Fit" . I guess I'll have to go find a Pipe Spreader somewhere. You know this kinda reminds me of one of those McDonalds commercials, You see a Delicious looking burger on T.V., but after you buy the thing you realize what a piece of **** it is. I guess I'm not really suprised though. LOL

I had the same problem we just put the y pupe on the headers and when it came time to put the other end on we took a skill saw and made four 3 inch cuts around it so it would go on, we spent about 2 hours messing with it before i broke down and sad just cut it

it only took about 30 mintues to do, but it would've been faster if i didnt have the back piece flipped the wrong way.

Oh great, and I just ordered pacesetters with a TSP y-pipe because of the "great fit". Guess I've got my work cut out for me.

So, you have to manually assemble the TSP y-pipe in pieces? Yay.
