ASP need help.......
Good for horsepower; smaller (underdrive) crank pully and larger (overdrive) alternator pully. <img border="0" alt="[Burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />
No charging problems with manual trans and mild electronics. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />
over=rotates more <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
or thats what i would take it to mean anyways <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
Overdrive gives you back what you lost in charging capacity with the underdrive crank pulley. This isn't necessary unless you have a big stereo system.

I've been looking at the ASP product (948500) as part of an initial set of mods (lid/ram air/maf ends/suspension).
1. Is it worth doing or does it create other problems?
2. Does the 948500 product include everything required?
2000 SS daily drive
With the lower idle rpm of the auto trans it slows the alt down even more. ASP makes an alt pully that will help if it becomes an issue for you but it should be ok with the crank only and mild electronic upgrades. <img border="0" alt="[Burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />
