I look to you guys for catback advice. I have stock catback with cutouts. it is very quiet and i like that. i am looking to lose some weight though. I do not know how much the stock catback weighs but it aint light! I would like the best compromise of quiet and light. I see d/d and hooker is recommended for being quiet but what about weight?
Only used Magnaflow on my old LT1. But it was considerably lighter than the stock exhaust, and pretty quiet until it hit about 4500 rpm's. Even then, it wasn't all that "loud"...
Hooker's probably another good note and a good lightweight catback for LS1's.

Hooker is still not loud with LT's and ORY...this is the setup I have and I love it! It has a nice quiet but defined idle but roars at WOT. Definitely the way to go in my opinion.

The Hooker is probably one of the most quiet exhausts I've heard other than stock. I think the Hooker is also aluminized steel, so that should also cut down on weight a bit.
If you're concerned about any type of rusting or having your exhaust exposed to bad weather, don't get Hooker because it's not stainless steel. If you're going to buy an exhaust and want it to last, you'd better get something decent. Hooker really needs to make a stainless version of their catback.

I don't know about light, but my SLP dual/dual is "mature" sounding. It's pretty humble cruising around and when you lay on the gas it'll bark like it's pissed off. Nice balance. You might've heard mine... cam headers with no cats; it doesn't get much quieter than that...
With your turbo in the stream that should act like a second muffler as well.
