Default Got true duals with x-pipe and 2 Flowmasters...

This is the best thing I ever done. Im glad the Hooker catback was on backorder for over a month I have it coming off the headers, to a DR. Gas x-pipe and 2 Flowmaster Delta Force and dump at the rear axel with the dumps at a 45* angle aiming just behind the back tire. This thing is soooo sweet. It has all mandrel bends also I will recommend this to anyone and it was cheaper than a catback. Ground clearence is good now that I put the stock springs back in. I had the SLP Eibach and it was iffy, but now no problems.

Ive had more compliments on my exhaust in the last 3 days than Ive had on my car in a year and a half. Have to thank Black Sunshine for his pic also, I used it for the guy to make the first half of it

Would like to know if you could email me some of the specifics on this exhaust: price, sound, pics, and also if you can tell if there is power gains. Thanks for your help. Email is Jason_78_99@hotmail.com

Ill have to grab Dads digital camara to take the pics cause I dont have one. Price was like $100 for the X, $75/piece for the mufflers, and $300 for the custom work. Its a work of art

As far as power gains, the SOTP fell is AWESOME. I had the Loudmouth before with no cats and LTs, I had no bottom end so now its sweeet!

whistler did the true duals a year and a half ago...he is lowered 2" and had to notch up under his rear seats to get the 2 flowmasters in there...best sounding F-body exhaust period.

Is it any quieter than the loudmouth with the LT's? I have the Hooker LT's on order and have the Loudmouth on my car but I plan to put the carsound cats in. I don't want it to be too loud and I was thinking of maybe switching over to an X-pipe set up but I don't know if it would be louder or quieter. Please let me know.

Thanks
Joe

I'm glad that you like it. I actually went to the same thing that you described, except I used the Eldebrock RMP muflers, with cutouts right before them. They are 3.5" thick, and only 7" wide. They fit in there great. I too may end up putting stock springs in to gain more clearance.

The X goes right below the driveshaft U joint, which also is the TQ arm pivot point.

The sound is awesome!! Not too loud, just right.

Honestly... if your car is lowered 2 inches, dont do it. Mine was lowered about 1 inch with the SLP Eibachs (Bilstein springs) that I bought from someone and I had to put the stock BACK springs in to not drag things. I left the Bilstein fronts in and dont have problems. I now dont have ANY clearence issues

I will try to get some clearence pics maybe by this weekend and no later than this weekend
