who has a hooker? n e one have the Hooker 3 inch Cat-Back exhaust. is it good for the money, 325$? how do you like it, and how dose it sound. dont have that much loot to spare so it seems like a good deal, right?

Re: who has a hooker? I went the cheap route and just got the Hooker AeroChamber muffler and I am not disappointed. I got it delivered from Thunder Racing for under $100, and it cost me $30 to get it installed. It is quiet off throttle but loud at WOT and idle sounds great...classic V8 burble to it.
IMHO it is a waste of money to get a whole catback if you already have a stainless steel. In some cases you can lose power from the bigger 3" pipes if your not producing enough power to get the exhaust out before it starts to cool.

Re: who has a hooker? The Hooker Catback is awesome! I put it on a week ago and I can't begin to tell you how awesome it sounds. Rumbles like a V8 should. I got mine from Thunder Racing for $279 but had to wait for a couple of weeks cause it was on backorder. Well worth the wait though!

Re: who has a hooker? I listened to all the clips on that page and I think the Hooker sounds wicked. The best sounding of those clips by far, IMO. And the price makes it my choice hands down, soon as I get the money of course. Flowmaster is goin bye bye.
Re: who has a hooker? I went to my local speed shop, and he also swears by hooker. I actually went in to order a corsa system and he said he didn't deal with them. I then thought ah what the hell, I'd rather have the extra 400 bucks in my pocket and asked about the hooker catback. He was very honest and said it would be very loud (which I knew) and said it was GOOD quality, but not the greatest. I put 40 bucks down on the system and it will come in tomorrow. The $290 is awesome and I've heard installation is a breeze, I can't wait.
Re: who has a hooker? I have the hooker and I love it. Not really that loud at idle, but it will never annoy you. Sounds great wide open. And the best thing about buying the catback, you can take off the muffler with 3 screws and run like a loudmouth. It sounds awsome either way.

Re: who has a hooker? I just installed the hooker cat-back a week ago. It's as good as everyone says it is. It's very easy to install and it sounds great. Could be a little louder at idle for my tastes though.
