How to make Hooker Louder? I just installed a hooker cat-back last week. I'm very happy with it, but i'd like for it to be louder at idle and through a low rpm range. Other than a cut out, is there an easy and inexpensive way to make my exhaust system louder? Maybe an ORY pipe? See sig for my mods...thanks.

Re: How to make Hooker Louder? The Hooker cat-back is known to be quiet at idle and in the low rpms, especially on an LS1. You could get a cutout, but that defeats the purpose of your Hooker cat-back as they'll both sound totally different. Headers with an orp would definitely help. Or you could just get a new cat-back like the SLP LM. It is loud at idle(even on an A4) and it is also loud in the low rpms.

Re: How to make Hooker Louder? I won't be getting headers unless I get some internal work done. I don't think they give enough bang for the buck unless you get a h/c package.
