Be sure to check it after you install it. Some have had problems with the pully wobbling (sp?), which can throw off the harmonics off the engine. But I think that was a problem early in production.

As long as the pulley is installed correctly, you should be just fine.

The install is easy IF you have the correct tools. You will need a 3-jaw puller and a 24mm socket. A flywheel lock and a torque angle meter are also recommended.

Here is the process for installing a pulley on an LS1:
-Remove bolt and pulley
-Install new pulley and use the old bolt to seat it by torqueing the bolt to 240lb-ft.
-Remove old bolt and install new bolt.
-Torque this bolt to 37lb-ft and then an additional 120 degrees.

Whats a fly wheel lock and angle meter and how do you get it torqued down that tight?

Since you have a M6 just put the car in 6th gear and pull the e brake, it will hold the motor to break it lose. Thats what I did when I did mine and when I did the cam. Then just leave it there and it will hold up to torqueing down the bolt as well
