Hookers and dropping engine Hey folks. I am AndUAndI's son just so everyone knows. I am preparing to drop the engine and tranny out of the formula and had a simple question. Does anyone forsee trouble with the Hooker LTs not being able to clear the frame when I drop the engine? The GM service manual says to remove the cats and that leads me to believe that there would be a clearance issue with them still on. It is also possible that they are removed just to seperate the engine from the drivetrain. Well that was not the typical "how do I make my car faster" first post. Thanks for any response.
