Anyone running Cats into straight pipe?

Anyone running Cats into straight pipe? just wondering if anyone who also has to do emissions has a set up with headers or manifolds with cats with no muffler?? i wana do this set up.. but not sure what Y pip to use.. and im gona go with the hooker headers.. if anyone does have this set up.. how does it sound?? rasp at all?? thanx!
Re: Anyone running Cats into straight pipe? I have FLP longtubes, cats, y-pipe, and then a cutout about 18" down the intermediate pipe.
It's pretty loud. Not very legal at all. It's nice because I can quiet it down/get inspected with my mccord electric cutout.
Not sure what 'rasp' is but it's definitely loud and snarly and mean and nasty <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> Just the way I like it.

Re: Anyone running Cats into straight pipe? That's what the loudmouth is. Just pipe that goes back over the axle. We looked inside a friends when we took it off, and there was nothing in the 'resonator'. It was just a 12" section of 4" pipe.
