Re: MTI Air Lid question. The Holley filter was designed to fit with stock airbox lids. It has a thicker/tougher rubber seal around it, which places extra stress on the mounting tabs of the MTI lids. This could cause them to crack over time, which is why MTI only suggests K&N filters for their lids. K&N filters have a bit thinner rubber seal, and the rubber is softer.

Re: MTI Air Lid question. I talked to MTI about this issue and they said that their clear lid would not fit with a Holley filter because their gasket is too thick. I am not sure what he was really talking about since I don't have them in hand. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />
