anyone heard of Stainless Works headers?? I've got a chance to pick some up for $800. These are for a C5/Z06 app. There is an additional $100 charge if I want the 3/8" flange design.
They're stainless steel and I can get them heat resistant coated for additional $225 from a company called Swaintech.
Any comments on the coating or 3/8" flange option (are either necessary are desirable?)

Re: anyone heard of Stainless Works headers?? Pretty much the same thing as TPIS headers. They are good quality also.
No need on the thicker flange option, its useless.

Re: anyone heard of Stainless Works headers?? I've never had experience with the Swaintech coatings, but have heard good things. Supposed to be much better at redcuing radiant heat than Jet Hot, et al. Here's their website:
