Default Which calibrated MAF to get

I've been thinking of swapping out the stock descreened maf for an aftermarket calibrated maf. I'v researched all the different mafs out there and the Pace mafs are looking good. Given my setup what maf would you pick of all the available mafs out there.

I have tried the Z06 85MM, stock (descreened) and the SLP 85MM. The best by far is the SLP 85MM. You will have to get a MAFT for at least the SLP MAF. I have had no problems what so ever with it. The Z06 was disappointing and the stock is just not enough.

Good Luck

The Z06 85MM is not 'calibrated'. If you put the 2 MAF's side by side, look inside, you can see that the SLP MAF is an extra resister. Does this change it. I am not any type of expert, but all I know is that the Z06 continually ran rich. Just didn't make the same power as the SLP unit. Again, my SS like it lean. I have tried numerous different setting on the MAFT combined with the stock (de-screened), Z06 and SLP MAF. The best power I have been able to get is out of the SLP unit. Weather/air density will play a big role in how to set up for a run. This is all N/A - no nitrous on these run. I haven't gotten the nitrous set-up to run up to what I believe it will (yet <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" /> )

Good luck

It is pretty hard to go against the Pace ls6 MAF. Me and a few others in my area have had good gains with it. You can also relocate the IAT sensore from the lid to the MAF which has to give a more accurate reading.

I run the stocker and LS1 Edit, but if I were in the market for an aftermarket MAF, it'd be the Pace. I've seen LS1's here in Hawaii respond very well to the Pace. Good luck
