Which exhaust to get for the most power?

Re: Which exhaust to get for the most power?
i have the b&b try flow. it sounds good not to loud. my bud has the corsa and another has borla. they all sound good and when dynoed they all made around the SAME power. NOW all of us have ws.6 and camaro ss, so their is not a big power difference over stock. on a standered ta or z28 i seen a corsa dyno at 14 hp over stock. my t.a only gained 2 hp.hope this helps ya.

The SLP Loudmouth catback will give you the most power since it has no muffler
I just had my borla adjustables put on this week and am going with no plates and from what I have been told with running no plates its like having straight pipes because by-passes the muffler if this is true..then its gotta be one of the best flowing.

14rwhp on the corsa is a bit of a lie, look at the dyno sheets on the corsa web site. It compares a camaro SS with a corsa system vs a camaro Z28......I still can't understand why they did that. Also from what I have learned from here, a catback won't add much more than 5hp, with 2-4 being realistic.....But if you had a civic, then you would gain about 75 hp.....Also a catback supposedly helps your other mods out.
That being said, despite corsa's stupid dyno comparison, i'll still be buying the corsa system.

great advice, but why do u always type in CAPS??
that aside, how does a flowmaster catback compare to the stock system? i hear it flows just about the same as stock.

I personally have the Whisper Agressor Catback coupled with an electric cutout. I really like the combo. the Whisper has a really good tone, but stays on the quite side, not too quite, but enough to roll into a neighborhood with out rattling the good china. With the cutout open, you get the muscle car sound you've always wanted I've heard a bunch and the Whisper has my favorite tone. the cutout has my favorite VOLUME!

I like the SLP 2OTL. You can look straight through the muffler, so it really has no restriction. Yet it is not painfully loud. It also sounds great with an ORY.
I would like to hear the new Bassani system. Looks like it’s a nice catback, but not too many people have it yet.
Flowmaster sounds real nice (I used to have their catback), but it’s true that it doesn’t flow as well at upper rpms as the “straight through” mufflers.
Dual/dual flows well, but it’s too quiet for me.

Re: Which exhaust to get for the most power?
I been around for a while and i can tell you this about it friend GMMG sound's better than my Borla. now diff is that im not saying you wont get any HP from GMMG but it does nothing for the car and i know somebody that has FLP's and GMMG on there car and it rock's. if i was you
go Borla i have it and i was going with the GMMG till i talked to a few Tech's for about 4 month's before i bouight any and here's what thay sed GMMG sound's good but does nothing for the car Corsa's ok.... Borla and FLP's you can't go wrong friend you will be glade you did
GMMG Borla and if you do try the bigest plate in there and work your way down. rember*the more you use a little plate the less air flow mean's more you will get off the linelow end. the more you leave your Borla open with the biggest plate the more you going to get top end and maby a hair off the line. i run the bigest plate in there
with GMMG it's 1 sound and 1 sound only that's the good thing about Borla you can alway's adjust it any time you feel like it you go to the track and you want better ET's hell stick the little plate in there you want louder in the city open that hole up hope this help's
im happy with it...............
