slp dual/dual power gain?

slp dual/dual power gain? slp advertises 335 hp with their dual/dual exhaust .that's 10 hp gain over stock ss. Everything i've read here says don't expect more than 5 hp gain even 2 hp gain. Who is right? Is slp full of it? Is 5 hp noticeable? Is it worth the money ? I dont mind the stock sound. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />
Re: slp dual/dual power gain? You can expect about 10 rwhp difference between the stock SS/WS6 exhaust and the Dual Dual... BTW: The Dual Dual isn't any louder than the stock stetup.

In most cases this catback is worth at least 10rwhp over the stock catback, which is more like 12-15 flywheel HP, so technically 335 advertised HP is conservative (as is the 325 from the factory). You will feel better throttle response. The exhaust is fairly quiet, although the newer models have more grunt to them.

Re: slp dual/dual power gain? The aftermarket SLP dual/dual is a little louder than the dual/dual on the SS/FireHawk in some cases because some of the SS/FireHawk dual/dual's had the ring of silence.
I agree dual/dual is one of the very best flowing quiet cat-back's. The tips could be little nicer but it's still my favorite overall. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
