!@#@)(*&!Stripped out fuel pressure test port!!!
Is there anything I can do to band-aid it up and drive it? I am definitely not buying a new fuel rail. I'm trying to get a FPSS and leave that on the end of the rail. I'm guessing that cap that goes on the end isn't going to be able to hold anything in. What should I do?
Did you buy a new valve and try to install it first?
If the fuel rail inside threads are indeed stripped, you can purchase a blue anodized aluminum AN cap. Sometimes called a "B" Nut in the aviation business. Just screw the AN cap on to the end of the fuel rail. Screws on the fuel rail outer threads just like the little metal cap that originally came off. Earls and Aeroquip sells them through speed shops. I can't remember the AN size though.
