electric cutout ?

electric cutout ? my 99 ss doesn't have traction control so naturally there is a blank where the switch would have been. im going to get my hands on an asr switch and try to use that as the open/close switch for the electric cutout, i think that it would look better than putting a switch in the ashtray like i have seen others do. has anybody tried this? would the asr switch be compatible? if not would there be any way to modify and make if compatible? any help would be appreciated. thanks

Re: electric cutout ? Actually what I did was removed the camaro badge to the right of the asr/fogs. this has 2 more switch cut outs. I bought blank snap-ins that size and drilled one for the LED and one for the switch, voila a nice custom looking fit & finish, whare you can see it too.
Re: electric cutout ? i had nearly the exact question. only difference is i have a base model with no options so i have both the foglight and asr switch available <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" /> besides i like the 35th anniversary camaro badge <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
