FLP header banging - not normal...

FLP header banging - not normal... Look, I know about the 'normal' floorboard banging, but this doesn't seem to be the same thing.
I had these same headers on my 99, and had no issues with header to car contact. Now that they're installed on my 02, the header bangs up against the side of the k-member. It's already taken off the coating in that spot, and I'm worried about it actually damaging the header.
I tried to reposition the header this weekend, and was not able to change anything. Does *anyone* have *any* ideas on what I should try? I'd love to get a tubular K-member, but it just isn't in the budget right now...

Re: FLP header banging - not normal... Awesome guys...thanks. I'll check into the torque strap (rachet strap) first, and see if that helps. If not, I'll try the tranny mount... If it still bangs after that, I'll bite the bullet and get the BMR k-member...

Re: FLP header banging - not normal... Re: FLP header banging - not normal... Mine were banging also. I changed the tranny mount with a Poly one from Energy Suspension. No more banging and just a little increase vibration. No much though. The stock mounts are soft and have a lot of movement to them. I am changing the motor mounts soon also.

Re: FLP header banging - not normal... I did the same thing with the Energy Suspension Poly trans mount. I have Grotoyhann's with a 3.5" Y-Pipe, so every time I accelerated, I'd get knock retard from the back of the cat on the drivers side banging the floor.
The poly mount stops all but the hardest clutch mixing from the headers banging.
