What is the "new style" asp pulley??

Default What is the "new style" asp pulley??

Whats the difference??I'm getting a good deal on one that has about 3000 miles, but don't know if its a "new style" one. How do I tell?? Thanks.

i think the old ones had issues with throwing belts but thats all i know about them. and i dont know how to tell them apart.

I think the new ones are sfi approved and the old ones aren't.I have the old one and IIRC it has absolutely no markings on it whatsoever.If I didn't buy new from thunder racing I wouldn't even know it was an asp.I've never had an issue with mine though.

The new ones are SFI approved as said before and they aren't goin to fall apart like some of the old ones have because they're balanced better.

new style was also made to fit the double roller chains. which the older ones had problems with

Yep,what everyone else said. Mine has a sfi stamp on it,it has the higher edges to help with not throwing belts and is machined shorter for double timing chains.Its about 2 years old as well.I'm not sure exactly when they changed the style.
