FTRA question?
One day I took soemthing apart and forgot to put it back in. I then made a post about it to find out that WILWAXU "john" I believe his name is, is running his car without the rubber strip and he has no problems running 11.6 at 114 with his car. I believe he might even of had stock internals as well, I am not sure.
I guess the turbulance that I once read about was a myth? If anyone can prove me wrong I will go back. I just seemed as though I had pretty hard core proof that more was better after talking to john.
I read somewhere that I should remove the rubber strip that goes in-front of the lid that came with the FTRA kit. Is this true? I thought the purpose of that was to create a pressurized area.

My suggestion: Try it out and see which works best for you.
For me, with my ram air hood.. it works best with it wide open... Your results may vary
BTW: Yes, stock internals
