MAC HEADERS INSTALL ?
MAC HEADERS INSTALL ? HOW EASY IS IT TO INSTALL MAC HEADERS? DO YOU NEED A LIFT? COULD YOU DO IT WITH A STANDARD 3 TON JACK? I'D LIKE TO INSTALL THEM MYSELF TO SAVE SOME MONEY. COULD SOMEBODY TELL ME A STORY OF INSTALL? A CINDARELLA STORY?

Re: MAC HEADERS INSTALL ? I and a friend who had also installed his macs by himself did mine. Driver header goes up from bottom, Passenger side from the top. Yes take the valve cover off for the passenger, it isnt that bad. After i was done the guy says "see why if i had to do it again i would pay someone to do it?" and i replied "yeah." If you could somehow just get the headers, i have the orp that i can sell you cheep.
Re: MAC HEADERS INSTALL ? I just finished pulling mine off. With all the plugs and the valve cover off, the passenger side should go in no problem. On the drivers side, you have to do the same plus take off the steering shaft. I yanked em both out from the top...easily.

Re: MAC HEADERS INSTALL ? Zshark said it oh so well, the only thing he left off was even after taking off the valve cover on the passanger side the header still needs some "LOVE TAPS" via a wooden block to make it drop down into place.

Verdad Gallardo Re: MAC HEADERS INSTALL ? Use jack stands. Pull both valve covers and it is a piece of cake from the top. It took me 6 hrs. and that was because I had a problem getting off the stock Y pipe because of rust. Otherwise I would have had the job done in 5 hrs.
