Purpose of AIR pump?
Purpose of AIR pump? I think it is to supply warm exhaust to your cats while they're cold to help with emissions, correct? If this is the case, when I install my Hooker LTs and ORP, I no longer need the AIR stuff, right? Thanks, Shawn
Re: Purpose of AIR pump? its just fresh air straight from your lid that gets injected into the manifolds, this air mixed with the exhaust gas exites the cat-converters quicker/allowing them to heat up quicker and get good/correct emissions quicker
