Napa gold /WIX part# plz

hey im doin an oil change and i wanna get the wix napa gold filter well actually i got one its part#1042 i just want to make sure this is the Wix one and not some cheapy filter. do they say wix on them anywhere. if anyone knows thanks

It should. The ones I get from Carquest do and they are the same filter as the NAPA golds.

All napa filters are made by wix. The only difference between the gold and silver line is that the gold is sprayed with an extra chemical to filter out more microns.
